Can Tho is located in the heart Mekong delta between a network river and canals. The city is known for its Ninh Kieu wharf, and Bang Lang gardens. Ninh Kieu port and its floating markets Cai Rang and Phung Hiep, where goods can be exchanged on the river.

The 38 U.S.C. defines veteran as “veteran”. 101(2). 101(2). Reservists and National Guard members who are called to Federal active service or who are disabled due to a disease or injury sustained or aggravated while on training status, or while on duty, also qualify as veterans. The military does not provide spouse pay or stipends, but it offers many benefits to service members and their families. Your first stop after the wedding should be the nearest military ID card issuing facility to enroll in DEERS, the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System. If you meet these requirements, you may be eligible. These must be true if you served in active duty, the Reserves, the National Guard (including Coast Guard), or in the National Guard. You were awarded an honorable or general discharge under honorable conditions. Combat Veteran Veterans can prove they are in this category by providing military service documentation. This documentation will show that they served in combat theaters, that they received combat service medals or campaign medals, and/or that they received hostile fire pay or imminent danger pay. Despite the fact that Vietnam veterans were older than their peers and had a longer follow-up (30 years), the death rates from chronic diseases such as cancers and circulatory disorders did not differ. All U.S. military veterans may be eligible to receive benefits for Vietnam Veterans. VA benefits include disability compensation, pension, education and training, health care, home loans, insurance, vocational rehabilitation and employment, and burial. Any military personnel must have been on active duty for at least 180 consecutive days to be considered a veteran. Only exceptions are made for service-related injuries and discharges under honorable circumstances. All veterans, regardless their priority group, have the right to the same medical services once they enroll. How Do Combat Veteran Benefits Differ For Non-Combat Veterans? The most significant difference for combat veteran benefits over non-combat veterans is a priority group. Veterans with combat service records rank higher in priority. This means that they are eligible for greater eligibility enrollment and more medical coverage. If VA assigns you a 100% rating, it has the option of also designating you permanently and totally disabled. Your benefits will be protected for the rest of you life if you are awarded this designation. Although it has been a long time coming, America today recognizes every Vietnam veteran who didn’t receive the welcome home they deserved.
